About
I am a geographic information systems specialist with a geoscience background. I graduated with a BSc in Earth & Environmental Sciences from UBC and began my career as a technologist working on subsurface mapping projects. I quickly developed a love of spatial data and recently completed a graduate certificate in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). This portfolio aims to show off some of my favorite projects relating to GIS.
Mapping & Cartography
The projects featured here deal with topics that I find interesting; geology, environmental sciences, forestry or biology. I am also a Transport Canada licensed RPAS pilot with experience using drones to make orthomosaic, stereoscopic and photogrammetric products.
CAD Design & 3D Modeling
I have additional skillsets in 3D modelling and CAD that I acquired through some of my GIS work. I have experience using Autodesk's suite of software, including Civil 3D for municipal and urban design projects.
Tutorials & Infographics
Visual communication is important; there's an art to communicating scientific information to people. I have included some fun infographics to showcase some of my visual communication skills.
